This one will be a quickie because I know you guys must be very busy preparing and doing last minute touch ups for Christmas.
However, I just wanted to say to all my lovely pandas out there that you are the best. I send you all a ginormous hug and a heartfelt thank you for sticking by me and reading my posts. I hope you have a wonderful break! As we speak I am floating above the clouds in a big ol’ tin can on my way to Cyprus, which I will be spending the next two weeks in.
Anyways, here’s to creating more memories this holiday season.
I started this post back in October, which was originally going to be about something completely different but certain things have changed my mind and now I need to get it out before I lose my marbles.
Yup, you guessed it! That’s me up there with my Daddy. Yes I also said Daddy and furthermore I will probably say it for the rest of my life.
Today is the day that we get to celebrate all the Daddies out there. Woop Woop! Be Proud guys! You are doing a rocking job. We need to say a huge thank you to the men who have stepped up and became our rocks. Whether they were our biological fathers or not. I am referring to the men who have taken the time to be the father figure in the household. You are the one’s to which this day is all about.
Today is the day we celebrate all the beautiful Mother’s here in the UK. My mom gets two celebratory days since we celebrate the US Mother’s day as well. But when in Rome, as they say. So I decided to do a little tribute to all the mamma’s out there.
Mother’s are curious creatures aren’t they? They are elusive, in the sense of not really knowing who they are as a person. We only see Momma and not the human being who does everything for us without question.
Big up to all my brothahs and sistahs out there who are only children! Yaaasss! Give yourselves a round of applause because you are awesome. Throughout the years, for some reason, we have gotten a bad rap. Who knows where that came from. But I am here to set the record straight once and for all and tell the kind people of the world why we should be revered as the bestest buddies that a person could ever ask for. So here we go, let’s do this!

I’ve had a love of photography ever since I could remember. It was brought on by my Dedo (grandpa) who was an avid photographer. He used to capture every event that was worth capturing. My parents on the other hand were not so photography-minded. They rarely ever took photos of me as a child, least of all videos. I think I have one VHS tape that is of me as a child. That, in my books, is horrible. All my baby pictures were taken by my Dedo. My parents have heard my complaints on the matter for my entire life and all they can do is shrug. If it wasn’t for my Dedo then I wouldn’t have much to look back on. Hence me picking up his hobby of being an avid photographer and why I think it’s extremely important to capture life. Even if it didn’t seem too relevant at the time. In the future it will become relevant. It will aid your memories of a specific day or a specific person.
Isn’t it funny that when we get older, that’s when we start to wish we had done certain things a little differently in life. I don’t mean we regret things. In fact I don’t think anyone should regret moments in their life. What I mean is, when we look back at our younger selves we wish that we could have cherished certain moments more. Even wishing that we could have asked more questions to the people that would have made a difference in our lives.
